Leeds United close to trio of signings.

Some Leeds fans are fit to burst with a mixture of emotions this summer, with rumours galore regarding incoming and outgoing players, but nothing officially confirmed.

With pre-season firmly under way in West Yorkshire, following the players returning to Thorpe Arch on Monday, fans are chomping at the bit for any scrap of hope in the transfer market, especially as their team go into the upcoming Championship season as favourites to win it.

So where are they regarding incoming transfers?

Well, according to HITC, they are very close to securing a trio of new faces at Elland Road.

Helder Costa (Wolves), Ben White (Brighton) and Jack Harrison (Man City) are all close to securing a season long loan to Leeds from their parent clubs, with Victor Orta in line for some well deserved credit.

News that the Whites were still in for the three Premier League men was confirmed again by self-made Leeds United Guru Phil Hay as he replied to a transfer enquiry on Twitter…

While the Ryan Kent situation is still fairly quiet, it appears that the other three players are imminent arrivals. A very positive situation for the Leeds United faithful, even with the unfortunate prospect of losing youth sensation Jack Clarke to Champions League Runners-up Spurs.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will want any transfer business done as soon as possible this summer as he will want any new arrivals at the same levels of fitness as the rest of the squad, not to mention the relationship building process between them and their new colleagues at Elland Road.

The transfer window is yet to yield any fruit for Leeds though, so all these rumours don’t really help the followers of The Whites until there is some hard evidence of people coming in.

Will the next few days be as important as this report suggests or will the Leeds boys and girls be just as anxious this time next week?
