Top five highest rated League Two players on FIFA 20

The ratings for FIFA 20 have been released and here we take a look at the top five players in League Two.

1. Richie Towell – CM – Rating: 69

After making 34 appearances for Rotherham in League One last season, Towell made an eye-catching move to Salford in the summer, leaving Brighton & Hove Albion. Good all-round stats for the skilful Irish midfielder who is at the top of the list of 78 silver cards for the league.

2. David Wheater – CB – Rating: 68

Dropped down two divisions to sign for Oldham in the summer, after leaving Bolton Wanderers. Despite a two-point ratings drop, Wheater is still the highest rated defender in the division on this year’s game.

3. Dean Gerken – GK – Rating: 67

Following his release by Ipswich Town, Gerken has made a return to Colchester, the club where he started his professional career. Being a perennial understudy during his time at Portman Road has led to his rating dropping from a 68 to a 67, but he still comes in as the highest rated goalkeeper in League Two.

4. Scott Cuthbert – CB – Rating: 67

Veteran defender starts his second season with Stevenage in 2019/20, after leaving Luton. Has received a slight upgrade to his passing and physical stats from last season.

5. James Vaughan – ST – Rating: 67

Made a surprise move to Bradford in the summer, leaving Wigan for pastures new at Valley Parade. Highest rated striker in the division so should be a good asset to all FIFA players who choose to start their journey in League Two.
