Earlier this season, Leeds United visited The Valley to play Charlton Athletic in the Championship. A game that ultimately ended in a Charlton victory, the occasion was marred by an accusation of racism from striker Jonathan Leko against Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla. An accusation that is still yet to be resolved by any governing body.
A hard fought victory for Charlton, against the run of form, produced praise for their players, not least Macauley Bonne who grabbed the winner… but in his post-match interview Bonne revealed that he witnessed an incident between Leko and Casilla, which he refrained from commenting on further at that time.
However, in the weeks following, the Football League and the FA revealed that they were looking into the incident in a thorough investigation, prompting many Leeds United fans to fear the worst on previous, recent disciplinary history.
The findings from this investigation seem to have yielded little in terms of a solid case against the Leeds United stopper, but the accusation and decision on punishment linger on, with no timeline for resolution, which is another bone of contention for the Whites followers, with many believing an announcement will kept back until an important fixture or period within the season in an attempt to sabotage any positive progress made by Leeds United so far.
With such an offence, a mandatory six match ban is a minimum punishment, not to mention the tarring of a players character, so any such allegation should be treat with the utmost urgency and detail.
So with Leeds’ previous history with the EFL, an announcement today from Leeds United commentator Adam Pope, stating that there is still no timeline on a decision has pushed many fans to vent their frustrations, many of which still believe there to be an agenda against their club.
Here are some of those reactions…
They’ll wait right up until day before we play Fulham to give him a ban.

Terry and Forestieri were both found not guilty in a court of law but both fined by the FA
FA work on a balance of probability .Meaning if they think he is guilty he is ..So wrong
Agree Kiko needs to take this to court to clear his name in the eyes of joe public

Is it better or worse for us that it's the FA rather than the EFL…? Which is less corrupt and anti Leeds?

Why’s it taking so long? Efl waiting for the worst possible moment to strike.

No doubt the EFL and the FA need to be sure on this one, but does it really take this long? Do the Leeds fans have a point?
